I tried the reversed option for this one and it doesn't look good as is, just reversed but I tried a more simple design of the tinsel strands #116 that might look better when reversed. Also it doesn't have to be black and white it can still be dark/light but with softer colors. Or even like in #121. So you can have the same logo just done differently if there is a need for the dark background.

I also did one more #111 where I removed one small hair curl on the right to bring the text closer and more fitting with the image.

Here I am again, with the revised options. I tried incorporating the blue and pink more like you suggested, removed the beaded strands and tried to mimic the shine in the tinsel more and tried a few options with feathers. I also made a few color variations of the hair.
I hope you like the revisions and please let me know if there is any option or combination you would like me to try.

Great! Also go ahead and put back in the eye lashes. I liked the color of pink from original flower so maybe a little of that.

I think this is fun because this logo looks like my hair except I'm a little blonder in front and brown through out

Regarding the feminine vs masculine look, I cant really imagine boys being exited about tinsels in their hair :) I made something I feel the girls would be exited abut when they see the logo, and assumed the party girls to be your customers.

I am not sure what you mean by "Maybe even a reflection?" could you please describe more what you had in mind.

Can you replace the flower with colored strands. Maybe the pink you used in the flower or blue.
