Hello Indigo! I like the concept you've come up with, and the way you've captured the shade. My actual shades are very different from a venetian blind, so I'd rather my logo "convey" shade than actually draw a shade. So, if the hand and wand were removed I think it might be a better look for my needs. Also, I think I would prefer the "window" to be a little thinner - more of a vertical rectangle than a square.
