Hello 'A'.... Thank you for submitting to my contest. I really like the design you have created! It is simple, yet playful and creative and I like how the logo and name are scaled to seem as a complete logo. I do like the use of color that plays with the positive and negative voids. i'm not sure which I best like, but probably the cream background or brown background.
As a version of this.......Would there be a way to incorporate the colors a little more in the creme background? My thought is I need a version that will print for black & white copy, and I like all of these versions with a colored backgroun, but I also would like to have a version where color is more incorporated. So maybe into parts of it? Your thoughts? I could see touches of red, brown and yellow being added in areas of the motif, not to over-power but to add-to, but am unsure as to tell you exactly where. ??? Or maybe it's just adding one of the other colors ???
If you have other motif ideas I am open to seeing any other ideas you have. I do like this one, but am curious to see if you have other ideas. I do love architectural elements and how these motifs are used in tiles, furniture, wood panels, etc.
