My opinion is that an airplane logo should be easy to recognize and fairly bold. Just look at all commercial fleets out there. Usually their logo is a simple symbol in one colour and very often just the abbreviation of the company name.
Therefore, I present you with this symbol that is a combo of the round earth shape, the cross, and a plane. It's clear, distinct and easy recognizable.
