Discussion

Here is my logo for your consideration. I created a horeshoe in a different curve/shape than that of the well-known Colts one. I also used 5 stars and nail points on it, rather than 7 dots—making it different in yet another way other than shape.

Other than that, I used an athletic-type script with a star as the dot of the "i" to echo the look of the horseshoe throughout the rest of the logo.

More versions to come soon...
Thanks for looking.

Here is my second idea. This one may subconsciously tie people to Under Armor, which represents cutting-edge material. It would be good to have people look at your logo and instantly connect it with state of the art technology and materials.

This is the simple one-color version. Alternate versions to follow...

Here is another layout. (This could also double as the tag on all of your apparel.)

Jake,

Thanks for the submissions. I like the silver horseshoe the best. (It not the NFL Colts horseshoe, very important) I plan to have three companies under the Unitas label. In future logos stick to three stars, to represent each company. For now stick with Unitas Sports. In the end it will be more than just a sportsware company. I want to use this logo to represent all of Unitas Sports. See what you can do with a regular U, not a horseshoe. Possibly like the U in the ESPN U logo. Something very bold that stands out. Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I will work on some concepts with just a "U" this weekend, and we can go from there.

Try some without the S in the middle of the horseshoe

Sorry for the delay on some new logos for you to review... I was out of town for the weekend for longer than expected. I should find time tonight to work on some new ideas for you.

Thanks for the additional feedback/ideas.

These new ones are great. One small adjustment. Just do Unitas Sports. Not sportsware. Thanks

Sounds good. I will be reupping all of the new designs again soon, with just Sports.
Thanks.

These new ones are really good! On #11 take the S out. On #45 make the A in Unitas the star A you created. Nice touch by the way. Can change the coloroing on 45-49 and 55? I'd like to see different tones of green, with the silver and white. (Stay away from light green) Make the green ones new sbmissions. I want to compare the green/ silver/ white logos next to the current blue/ silver/ white.
Thanks

No problem. You are definitely one of the more active CHs I have encountered, so thanks for all of the feedback.

Just a heads up for you: if you do end up wanting one of these as your logo, I will gladly email you the alternate color version as well. That way you will not have to choose just one. And additional revisions/alterations down the road will always be provided free of charge as well.

Best of luck with your decision... You have some great logos from the other designers as well. I think any of the remaining ones that I saw posted would suit your brand/identity quite well.

Can you show me what 45, 57, 58 would look like if you added a J (in the same exact style) next to the horse shoe. My initials are JU. Thanks

Here is another idea. On 45, 57, 58 see if can connect the J and the U. The horseshoe flares up and out at the top on each side. Have the line that goes across the top of the J flare up and out on the left side. On the right side the flare from the J should connect with the top right flare from the U.

No problem. I am at work until 4:30pm central, and then I will be heading to my studio. This will be the first list of things on my to-do list.

I should have something for you by 5:30 or so.

I am getting out of work late, and then I have a ball game (doubleheader).... so I will not get to these changes until later tonight. Just a heads up for you.

Thanks for the continued effort. Here is one last idea. Keep with the JU theme but combine the J and the U together where the straight part of the J also serves as the left side of the U. Thanks

Did you mean kind of like in #74, but with the horseshoe? I will keep trying with that idea... my first attempts are not worthy of being submitted.

#84 yes this is it. Extend the bottom part of the J out and up a bit more

OK. Gotcha... I can do that quick right now.

I messed with the J as much as I could to make it look good and still read as a "JU". The stars help to serve as a separated as well. (In addition to the nod to your 3 businesses.)

Green one to follow...
