I'd also be interested to see if you could do a version of this with a bit more gradient - right now hte shield has a slight highlight to it, but the text does not. It might look neat if it's more pronounced on shield + text?

I'm liking this one a lot! A few more thoughts:

I think the shield in general looks awesome. I'm wondering if there is a way to make the thickness of the red lines a little more pronounced, or the amount of black on the shield a little less? The general shape is great, but I'm thinking it feels a little heavy on the black, and a little light on the red, in comparison to the typography.
