Thanks for submitting your great designs. We like your 1st designs, espeically #26 and #25. The light blue color is what we are looking for (like GE's logo color). Here are our recommmendations for further modifying your initial designs (1) keep in mind we need to communicate 3 things through our logo - #1 - quality products at competitive prices #2 - credibility and excellent services #3 - global sourcing and cooperation (2) we want to see the effect of capitalized "U" and "C" as in "unimex corporation". Also, we'd like to see a more elegant, refined, modern text of "unimex corportation" (3) the circle with UM looks a bit small to us. You may consider enlarging it a bit. Also we'd like to see a more creative, expensive design of the circle (the 1st design looks a little bit simple"). It would be great if you can communicate the 3 things through the symbol. Again, we appreciate your great work.
Here are the new revision. Both #29 and #30 has bigger and more elaborated circles and UC capitalized in hand writing style. For the "unimex corporation" text there are 2 font version: 1) Entry #29 is using the same font as GE. 2) Entry #30 is using another one in case you like it most. Any way the chose is up to you.
#29 is so far the best work we see (we ranked it as #1). We are glad to see changes to the symbol (the blue circle) and we like the imagination and dynamic of "UC". However, we decided to go with "UM" in the circle and would like to see the change of effect. It would be awsome if you can communicate the three things (as listed) throught the design of "UM" in the circle. For the text font...since it's property protected by GE, I would say we should avoid using the same font but close ones (as we really like the font....if you know what I mean).
