please let me explain to you where my idea for the concept came from
i was thinking about uncommon communications and what immediately came to my mind is the most celebrated and famous example of uncommon communications which are text messages, they where uncommon few years ago, but they are at the base of our daily life now.
so this logo represent this kind of uncommon communication with the goal to represent them all, i try to design a text message like speach bubble.
i made a few revisions , i added a light shadow around the object that balances the reflection coming from the top, i also moved the word communications inside and spread it out a little bit to keep proportions
as for the colors, once you have vector files in your hands you can try different colors to express your message, i reccomand staying around blues, which express stability and tradition, and also around purple, but in this case purple must not be very light, because light purple is a little bit fragile, it makes us think about flowers, a stronger purple on the other hand express "expensive" because the purple was a rare color in the past and anything purple was immediately associated with expensive, and also it contains a bit of red and give us a sense of passion
