#2. This is very cute, but not serious or sophisticated enough for our mission. It does not showcase what our mission is. We are not a rescue group - we are advocating for change to the policies in NY and the shelter system. The dog is very cute
It might be good to better understand the situation... maybe a link to some article about how you want to change the conditions? I know you don't want stray animals wandering NYC ... but change the conditions within the animal control facilities? I am in CA and most designers are in other countries... we just don't know about the issues there.
There are many issues at stake - The ACC shelter system needs a complete overhaul; they need new shelters built; they need the existing shelters renovatred. 5K animals are killed annually, almost all are healthy/treatable conditions. Killed for lack of space. In order to effectuate change, need new and better policies from within NYC (and NY as a whole) - change has to come from the top; otherwise it will never happen. If the mayor/senators/city council do not support these changes, it will never happen. We need to recruit and get like-minded New Yorkers (and others) involved and passionate about this. I like this concept (#12) - just not sure if it is too busy. Need to discuss with our steering committe. Can you do two others with a splash of one color in each
