We've explored options, if nothing else then to eliminate non-perspective ones. Original design without any details added is the most balanced version with the best visual flow
i like the original image! no 9th element!
let's go with that, and the increased name and slightly extended blue.
not sure what version that leaves us with.
...and there's this same concept with dots completely visible on entry #311. It actually looks good, but this idea of having them in design but not visible sounds better to me. :D
..ok,..check this out a propo your idea about including 9th elements, not visible, but present. I've included two dots giving them transparency of just 10%, so you can have a visual reference. When I prepare final logo files, I'll make that transparency 0%, so it won't be visible at all. How does this sound?
No, no. It's not weird at all. There is a way. We can place for example two dots on top and bottom, and make them completely transparent,...so they would be present, but not visible.
Now when I think of it, it's actually a really cool concept, fundamentaly related to the work you do.
this may be a weird question- in graphic design is there a clear color function? where we could draw these new 9th points in clear- so it would be there energetically, but not visually. ? 😝 and clear , not white, so that if i ever transfer the image onto colored backgrounds or print it on gear, etc, it will not show.
mmm yeah- i don't really like that one as much. maybe just a subtle tiny tiny triangular point at the intersection of each. if it doesn't look good will just leave it as original
...after stepping back and returning to these new designs, this one kinda pops up as very subtle intervention, non-disruptive to visual flow - just a small opennings on top and the bottom indicating acupuncture needles piercing the skin, without being obvious, and there's that symbolic 9th element present as well. Thoughts? Thnx
i like this font a lot.
can i make my name and credentials slight larger?
and the blue shade on the outer circle extended down a bit so the blue is more of a canopy (this comes from a specific criteria for my logo.) getting close-
this is going to sound weird, but even if you just put an invisible white line in the center of the top and bottom, at least i will know it's there and the numerics will be 9 and 9 and 18
okay- so this is very particular- but i would like a small mark or triangular point shape of sorts between the top and bottom central intersections
so that there are total of 9 lines or marks on the top, and 9 on the bottom.
both the numbers 9
and 18 are significant - so i'd like that numeric represented instead of 16 (8 and 8)
...sorry for that plural,..have no idea how I missed that. Correction made on #291, with more saturated colors,...and even more saturation on #292,...slight differences to compare.
please edit name to make it rivers ( plural - not river) and slightly a later color tones- more true blue and true green rather than muted. i'm having a hard time finding the colors that really hit
...ok,...I've made suggested modifications with more contrasted blue-gray > green-gray > blue-gray gradient, and increased spacing between letters. Check out entry #287. You were right,...it's better balanced and has a better flow. Thnx
If I find font more in line with that Magnolia you like I'll upload.
...yes, there are a lot of fonts named Magnolia, and they are mostly not open source, so you would have to purchase those fonts. This specific font is close to that Magnolia style, but it's open source and free for commercial use.
Let me play with colors and kerning (spacing between letters) a bit more, and maybe I can find an open source font that is close to that specific Magnolia you like. be back soon
i've been told there are a number of Magnolias. I might like to set the letters a bit more spaced apart (i forget what that is called in graphic design)
I've made suggested modifications,...on entry #283 there's a gradient on the logo icon going from dark blue gray to greenish gray, and back to dark blue gray, and on entries #284 and #285 I've presented pure monochromatic versions in brand colors (dark blue gray on #284, and green gray on #285).
Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thnx
Thank you for the constructive feedback,..let me do some magic and I'll be back soon with suggested modifications. And yes,...this is really elegant, modern design, but still organic with natural flow. Glad you like it,..be back soon
wow.
this is so different than what i imagined but i just love it.
the only change i would want to make is color/ shading- dark blue grey on the bottom - fading up into greenish grey blue and the overall top of the circle being that same dark blue color (so it is like a canopy of blue hue)- giving the visual
suggestion of rivers and trees.
i would also like to switch the size of the letters with "two rivers" being smaller than " family acupuncture ".
i'm also thinking of adding my personal name Dr. Alexis Mahon, L.Ac. under the business name

#307 kinda disrupts the visual flow within the logo icon, but #305 and #306 turned out interesting.
I've also made your credential and name slightly bigger and brought that blue shad a bit lower from the top as suggested.

I got it all. Let me explore some options. Be back soon with suggested modifications.

The only suggestion I would make is to alter the color gradient so it is more noticeable from blue>>> greenish>>> blue (if possible)
