I am so sorry to let this go, but we've decided on a different winner. You were very active and creative in this process, and we really appreciate it. This was a fantastic design. You do great work.
This has been a top contender. One comment we got from an artist friend yesterday is that gradients are not good for logos -- the printing will be inconsistent. I asked you for the gradient, so that's my fault. I know your earlier version had a consistent color circle. Maybe just a line around the edge would be better? I'm not sure. Do you have any other ideas on how to ensure the circle prints well?
This is our favorite logo so far, although there are some very close seconds. Can you make the trees just a bit shorter? And I'm wondering if in some small printing applications (like a business card) if the circle will fade away and be lost. Maybe just a hint of a deeper shade in the outline of the circle would help? Almost an outline, but not a hard one. Just blending into a bit of a more saturated edge to the circle. What do you think?
My wife and I really do like these logos since you made the trees more redwood-like. And funny, I was just telling her the two Os looked like an infinity symbol in the previous version, and here you've done that! I don't think we want to be so obvious with the infinity. I like the version you did at 63. I have two requests I'll make on that one.
I like the overall concept, but please look up the silhouette of coastal redwood trees, which is quite different than these trees. I'd love to see a redwood version of this. Thanks.
