Thank you for your entry. It's nice. I like the font for Tucker Hill. Could you do a redesign with the round logo beside the name instead of on top? I am trying to get a more compact, heigth wise, logo. Thanks again.
Thanks for the re-design. It's interesting. A little more playful than I was thinking. The following comments are very nit-picky (sorry), but the line of the hill under the "h" in "hill" is a little too close to the letter, as well as the scrolly at the top of the "h". I am not sure if the word "hill" is noticeable enough. Maybe it just needs a space between the line of the tree and the "h". Also, "fine fragrances" needs to be placed elsewhere, but I am not sure where (that's why I'm not a designer LOL), maybe curve it under the hill below "tucker". Thank you very much!
A friend of mine reviewed the entries and she also likes #28. Her comment, and I agree, is that the font needs to be changed to be a little more formal, and in uppercase. If you change the font, then my comment above about spacing might not be an issue. Do you mind reworking this? Thanks!
This is nice, as well. I said uppercase in my last comment, but I meant capitalized. So sorry. Also, I would prefer a script font. I hope you don't mind my asking for revisions. I really appreciate it. Thanks!
You have some great ideas! Thanks so much. I really like #59 - the font is a little too curvy, maybe that could be toned down a little. Also, I like the color scheme of #32 - with Hill being that slate gray/blue color that matches the color in the tree. Could you please make those changes? I think I will extend the contest to give more time for tweaking. Thanks again!
For Entry #58, could you colorize it to be more like the color scheme you used for 61? I like the scrolled tree, but am not sure if it's quite right. I do like the color scheme, however. The tree in 58 is a little bold - I would like to see it softer, if that's the right word. Thanks.
Hi. I am going to make my winner selection in the next few days. I read somewhere on this site that the logo can be tweaked by the first ranked designer prior to selection of the winner. I have a few questions about the logo. First, I need to know what formats you can provide this to me, the more the better. Also, will I be able to manipulate the logo in any way? I am probably going to change the "fine fragrances" to something else, and am trying to come up with that now to have the logo tweaked before final selection. But if the process of coming up with a new motto is delayed, could I delete fine fragrances and put in something else? Or have fine fragrances deleted by you entirely. On another note, could you please change the gray blue color in the design (at least the blue color looks blue gray on my monitor) to have more of a green tint - like a soft aqua or teal? Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks so much. Based on some feedback I received, could you change the color of the word Hill to match Tucker. Make fine fragrances that teal color. I still may change the tagline. On Saturday I was feeling overwhelmed with the number of late entries and requested an extension. It was granted today. I don't know if additional entries will affect my ranking or not. I still really like your design and you are very much in the running. An idea I had a little while ago, I don't know how it would look, but make the T of tucker into the tree, with the hill running under the words. No designer has come up with that concept, maybe for the reason that it would not look right. If you want to try something like that, go ahead. If you think it is a poor idea, that's good, too. I am not a designer by any means! : " )
I like #103, the font is beautiful. I like the lay out but there is something about the tree that I don't care for, not sure what it is. It may be that it almost looks like a picture of a tree, instead of a tree sketch. Also, there isn't much of a hill line in that entry. Maybe lift the tree a little higher, make it more sketch-like and draw a hill line similar to what you have done in #102. Thank you very much.
For # 130, could you reposition the trees to be to the left of Tucker Hill? Also, Hill looks like Hile with this font - I noticed it before but forgot to mention it. Maybe the k and l can be shortened a little. Thanks!
Wow. Decision time. You are right - there are a lot of great design entries to choose from. I have one more request. Could u change this design to omit the tree and have the focus be on the name with a hill? I am thinking now that maybe a tree is not absolutely necessary. Thanks in advance.
Hi, Nancy. I have re-ranked one of your entries with the watercolor trees, which are so pretty. Would you be willing to use the font you used in #37 (I'm getting feedback that we need a "girlier" font) with a sketch of a hill (no grass) and those watercolor trees as kind of a watermark behind Tucker Hill? Thanks!
Thanks! A couple of revisions (what else??). The shading below the hill line looks like a lip to me. Could you please make tucker hill a straight line and curve the hill under it? Make the hill line brown, instead of blue, I think it would stand out a little better. And make the trees a little smaller, too. I appreciate your patience with me. : " )
Thank you! I prefer that Tucker Hill be on one line. I like the new smaller shading on the hill line. I think the smaller trees won't work because they look a little more like blobs at the smaller level. Could you tweak 158 - leave the trees the same size, use a limited amount of shading under the hill line and make the hill line brown or brownish? And maybe slightly darken the trunks and branches of the trees so that it is more obvious that they are trees. You don't have to do this today - it's Sunday and I have time left to select the winner. Thanks again!
Hi, Nancy. I wanted to thank you for your wonderful designs and hard work on the contest. I have looked at other contest designs you have entered and your work is just beautiful. For Tucker Hill, in the end, I decided that the tree was not really necessary, it's funny how a persons' ideas of what they want change over time. Thank you again. Kathy Burns
