Hi Yulia! Great to have you on board;-) Good work and I kind of like all three directions.
#7 Maybe too retro. I do like this style (round dots) and there are a lot of signs like this in Austin. I think the color scheme (brown and blue) is retro as well and choosing between the two concepts I pick the blue and brown and suggest a logo shape that may be able to venture in form from retro while retaining the overall feel via the color choice alone. Hope this makes sense! I'm new to this.
#6 Very on point! Simple, classic, but maybe too much so. Maybe too simple? This might look good using bolder thicker font and strings?
#7 I like the "generic" icon but might like to see some other version. The font is cool and may work... it is not quite as clear as the other fonts. I've had friends play around with lines on top and bottom. Maybe 1 line top and bottom or 3 lines top and bottom maybe even 8 and Tribotone sits parallel inside? It might be cluttered if there are too many. I like where you are staring from. Any questions let me know!!!
#15 Cool idea but leans to only 1 type of instrument (guitar, electric) which excludes pedal steel, lap steel, acoustic, and Dobro instruments. Probably best to omit guitar icons only for that reason. We can't include them all;-) I like the bold font we've just got to find a "cap" other than a guitar. Your colors are great!
#16 #14 Not crazy about the little circles. You might try a musical note? Not sure but maybe the staff could top and bottom as a musical note like found on sheet music. Music is in common for all instruments. #14 font is too simple for my taste. Looking good though!
#5 I like it if you have some other similar icon shapes that might fit better.
#25 Reads like Tri"p"otone. The note does not work there. I like what you are doing (your work) and will write a longer feedback in about 8 hours (after my work day). Thanks Yulia!!!
#6 One thing to note (pun intended) is that steel guitars often have 8 to 10 strings. I was thinking about seeing 2 'strings' added to this design just for balance and the fact that more than 6 strings is perfectly acceptable. That way every letter is seperated by a string? Maybe it works... maybe not. Thanks!!!
#24 Could be the one:-) Can we try working on it? I printed it and modified it on paper... Remove the parallel lines to the left of the 1st "T"; extend the top of each "T" toward the left so the top line of each "t" is longer. For the "T" in "Tribo" extend the line to the left edge of the note. For the "T" in "tone" extend the line to the left so it is lined up on the right side of the "b". Put some type of line under "ribo" the bottom of the line should line up with the bottom of the "note" and the 2nd "T". Put a line above "ne". Put "TM" to the right of the line that is above the end of the "e". Alternatively, what do you think about extending the top of the "T" in tone to the edge of the "e" and make the line a graduated thickness as the line moves towards the "e". Last thing! Can you play around with the "note" in the first T. It seems a bit heavy. Thanks!!! My wife and I really like this design:-)
#5 can I see this with some horizontal lines (strings) top and bottom to frame it in?
#5 The icon and first "T" don't keep the same angles... like the icon should end the curve at the "T" angle. Size accordingly to work.
#5
NOTE: Us trademarks "TM" do not have a circle around them (circle is reserved for "R" = Restricted).
#41 Don't connect the "added" lines to the letters. I would like to see them on their own. I like the right side of the first "T" on #24 more than this one. Is it possible to "extend the dot in the i" outwars and use that circle to cut the right side of the "T" maybe even into the b letter? Hope this makes sense:-) From an engineering standpoint everything has to have a reason. Thanks!!! Reply if you have any questions.
#5 Maybe a slogan below Tribotone "Hear The Difference!" I like this logo because the left side icon looks a bit like an ear. We DO sound unique and is our strong-point. Can we work on a few angles, lines, alternates and such to make this the one:-) Thanks!!!
#41 Can you look up some images of an 8th note? They angle down a bit on the bottom. It's sort of an oval but not left to right... a bit like axis on 2 o-clock 8 o-clock. Also can I see it in some other shades of blue and brown or others you may think look great. Thanks!!!
Eric P.S. If I need changes after picking a winning logo how is that handled through Logo-Tournament? This is my first time here.
#78 My musical friends like this one best... a few things...
1) Can the dot in the "i" be larger or the cutout around the "i" less? It looks a little unbalanced. 2) Variations of these colors (lighter/darker/etc) 3) Remove the slogan for this design "Hear the Difference" for this design. 4) Also try highlights like #42 5) TM might be a bit smaller.
#80 Maybe even a bigger dot on the "i." Maybe a thin line "like a string" from the "b" to the TM. All my products are roughly this shape... tube and or bar. This might give it that overall shape.
DETAILS: Below the "O" next to the "T" the added line ends with the angle of the "T". I like this... can we do that with the line butting up near the 8th note and the line close to the top of the "b"?
Any other simple font "highlights / shadings or attributes would be appreciated. My wife would like to see some other colors you may think look good together. Unfortunately my feedback for brown and blue is not great- this is my fault!!! I like brown and blue;-) Thanks Yulia!!!
#100 I don't know what to do? Concept is good, idea is good, friends prefer this route... maybe try??? The reason my music friends like it is that it's traditional in the music world to have the name a "script" font. Just Google images of Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, Gibson, etc... Can you see if we can do it with this design. I just seems to need something? Maybe it's the T and dot... maybe it's the note too heavy? It just seems to be unbalanced as you move left to right. Maybe it's the offset in Tribo and Tone?
CHANGE: I would like to see the dotted i to keep the color of Tribo. Any ideas? Thanks!!!
#100 Could I see this left side (Tribo) all red same color, right side (Tone) all blue same color and remove the line going to the right off the "b." Thanks!
