The concept behind my logo is having the full logo (as shown) as an option. And then also having a stand-alone icon (the "TB" I created shown on the left). I wanted to give the entire thing a clean, precise metallic feel, so that it directly relates to automotives and professionalism. The TB icon is unique and memorable, and gives off the same kind of feel as a luxury car company hood ornament.
Thanks in advance for your consideration. Hopefully, you are still accepting new ideas and new entries from additional designers.
Thank you for your contribution. I like your explanation of the logo and the fact that you are also thinking of making a stand-alone icon! It is not inconceivable that we will use our logo so. For the icon I like the way that TB is integrated into each other. I can't quite figure out if I like the font for the text or not. To make that decision I would like to see a more simple version of the logo without the metallic look. Try to do some simple coloring - remember it has to look good on many applications. Of course we will have the logo with full coloring on our website, but we would also like to get it printed on cardboard boxes, packaging tape ect., which will limit us to one color - or maybe two, but I don't think so.
And here is a one-color version. As you mentioned, it is vital that the design can work well in this format--especially since you already have specific one-color applications in mind. I hope you find it to still be striking and memorable (especially the TB icon, as that could be used for the tape you mentioned... it would create a nice repeating pattern/look on tape.)
