We just wanted to thank you so much for all your time and effort on this contest.

It was an extremely difficult decision to make, but we've decided to go with our first place logo.

It was simply a matter of which design captured the personality of our brand best.

I hope another cat-related project comes along so you can adapt these little guys for something new. :)

Good morning Sam and Sara,
I was dreaming about the heart on the cat...hahaha Changed the font. Wasn't sure if you prefer San Serif over a fun scripts or if that would make a difference. I was thinking of different ways to illustrate a shopping cart as another option to depict 'shopping'. I will check back with you later...again if the weather doesn't interfere with my signal.

Had fun doing this one. It is more along the feel of the Sikka design. Thought I would work on this while I can still get online. If I can, I will add different one tomorrow.

We do have storms coming through again so if we lose contact it will be because of the electricity going off. I hope not. But on this again, I can build on it if you like the idea. Make a cartoon of it as well as add colors etc. I will think of other shopping ideas too.

I decided I needed to upload this instead. I meant to add dimension to the box. Then after going through the others designs there are some that the cat is behind the shopping bag and I need to have this clear that it's coming through the inside of the gift box. So I will repost my comment from my other like this and remove the other entry.

Thanks! As we've seen more logos, our brief has probably evolved a bit. I posted a comment update about what we want, but real quick:

1. Shouldn't look like a logo for pet food, vet hospital, etc.
2. Should be fun, but professional looking. (not too "artsy")
3. People should smile or laugh when they see the logo.
4. If it can somehow merge the cat with the concept of buying things, that's great!

Okay, I will work on this tomorrow if the storms don't knock out our electricity. We have bad storms coming in again in Texas. I start on some rough ideas tonight. Have a restful evening! Thank you!

Thank you, I can see the designs but they came up with the designs in the blind phase and were not copying each others concepts so they are good. But I will not be able to add a shopping bag at this point. I could try something different.

Hmm, if it helps, multiple designers came up with the shopping bag & idea separately. But I don't want to get you in trouble. I'll put you in the top ranking so you can take a look, it'll at least give you an idea of what we do like! (aside from the logos of yours that I pointed out)

I don't see anywhere you asked for shopping bags in your brief (?), so that would be a protected concept from this point. Cat Lovers however could be incorporated into a heart design with the style you like. I would have to think about that and try to design something tomorrow for you that is new and doesn't infringe on the other top designers. If you are set on the shopping bag I think it can't be changed at this point and gives you freedom to work with your top designers. Let me know I would be willing to try some more in the style you liked of mine. But I feel the brush stroke may not work well on what you envision. You are leaning toward more of the Sikka logo style. Thank you! I'll be watching.

Oops - my mistake, finalist phase is started now. We'll be in touch if we need any updates!

The brand is "Trending Meow" by the way. :) I'm not into the string concept. Right now our finalists are all either shopping bag concepts or shipping box concepts. I think we're really into those, so you're welcome to try something clever there!

Thanks! We're looking for something that's:

1. More fun looking
2. Also doesn't look like it could be a logo for a vet, or pet food brand (must be geared towards shopping)
3. Is memorable/unique enough for the logomark to be on its own and be recognized.
