I uploaded 4 variations with TEP in one color. I think that one color (referring to my design, blue color) better fits your business. It makes the logo look more professional, but the three color version isn't bad as well.
You can leave me your thoughts here, so I get a notification email each time you reply.
Andrei - I really like what you've made. To me it's simple yet still colorful. The road (that just shows up in the drop, and doesn't blur or pull on it) to me looks clean and clarifies the transportation connection. And I think we are leaning toward liking a one-color acronym.
I have a board of 8 that will help make the final decisions; I'll have to see what we decide as a group. One other idea you may consider is this: we serve Clean Cities coalitions, and our collective DOE logo can be found here: http://www1.eere.energy.gov/cleancities/toolbox/logos.html. It's the sun rising over the city skyline. Is there a variation of this that doesn't complicate the design too much... or another creation you could make that doesn't copy this but perhaps includes most of the elements we are looking for but gives a nod to that logo?
You're on the right track! What about 2 derivations of this:
1 - no skyline, but keep the sun as coming up from behind the drop 2 - same, but with sun behind (centered or not) behind the "TEP"?
I think the current designs you added are just too busy. Perhaps just stealing the sun element could be enough of a nod to the Clean Cities logo. Perhaps the blue "TEP" letters (because the city skyline in the Clean Cities logo is blue). And I like the road in #63 better (just within the drop).
I've uploaded 6 more revisions (#73 #74 #75 #76 #77 #78) containing the rising sun as you asked, on the symbol itself and on the acronym. Half of the new submissions are with a abstract sun.
Hope you like them and do not hesitate to submit your new ideas for revisions.
