#1 - I like the text and vert. line... but the ball and arrows aren't grabbing me. The overall rectangular format is OK too (doesn't have to be that way). Exchanging action is good too, and I like the shadow.
tridoso - what about a deviation from your simple line logo above that might do a couple of things:
- place a simple thin line in the middle of the current line to indicate a road - incorporate a half sun (like that in your Thurston Energy logo) that the road would be going to, and - that would have a simple flame, drop and bolt to indicate driving to cleaner fuels?
tridoso - We have narrowed it down to three designers... and you are one of them!
If you will, we'd like several I think fairly quick variations of #65:
We'd like to see what these would look like with the road/stripe changed to blue, and the letters in the name changed to red. 1 - Change what's noted above, and change the color of the sun to a dark yellow or orange, perhaps using a color from the sun image in the Clean Cities logo, which you can find here: http://www1.eere.energy.gov/cleancities/toolbox/pdfs/cclogo_color.pdf 2 - Change all of what's noted above (all color changes), and make the sun round (instead of jagged edged) and with the sun being very similar to the one in the Clean Cities logo, including having the center-to-outside fade in it.
If for any reason you don't get these until after the contest is ended, then don't worry... we will plan to work with you afterwards if you are still selected!
Hi Jonathan, Thanks for all your feedback and you appreciation. But in judging mode only ranked #1 can submit revision entry. If you need some revision from me you should make my work rank #1 as temporary.
