Comment Activity GoodGuy Design commented on #30 Withdrawn Thank you. If you ever need logo or other print or web design help, you can message me on here. Good luck with your new logo and the rest of your process! - Jake 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #30 Withdrawn Jake - It has been a pleasure working with you. I thank you for being so enthusiastic and fun to work with. At the last minute another design came through that caught our eye so your logo is in the 2nd spot. Wishing you all the best as you continue doing your great work. 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #33 Withdrawn All sounds great! I actually have to leave now suddenly for the day, but I will be on in the early evening to knock out these next additions. Have a great Saturday... 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #30 Withdrawn 40 years less bold and what if "Toyonaka-San Mateo Sister City Association" were in blue at bottom of logo 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #33 Withdrawn What if "Toyonaka-San Mateo Sister City Association" were in blue at bottom of logo 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #33 Withdrawn Just got confirmation that the bottom of the circle should read the full title "Toyonaka-San Mateo Sister City Association" 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #33 Withdrawn WOW! what about the 40 years not quite that bold. match thickness to letters around the circle. 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #34 Withdrawn yup. this is getting better and better. I think the bridges curving up from the bottom - curving like the stitches will still be a nice effect. 40 years could be a little less bold? i am going to be offline for a bit but will do my best to respond soon 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #34 Withdrawn I really like how this looks with the cities being larger :) 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #18 Withdrawn I love the words extending beyond the circle - drop sister city association - still think it might be nice to see the words not curved and let the stitching be the curved part 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #28 Withdrawn Maybe try dropping 'sister city association' and just have the two city names 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #28 Withdrawn Love that idea... will do it now! 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #28 Withdrawn i like the size of the bridge on #3 - then the challenge is to find a place for the 40 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #28 Withdrawn try bridge on the bottom of ball in a curve to replace the curve of the ball stitching 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #28 Withdrawn 40 and bridge in the middle could be a good mix 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #28 Withdrawn a blend of this and #4 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #28 Withdrawn Something more simplified like this might end up being the way to go!... (Your bridge logo could be saved for other uses if needed.) 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #21 Withdrawn too much in the middle - 40 years / flag not enough space 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #17 Withdrawn Sounds great. Yes, that may be the case... it is seeming that way. I will work on a couple more based on your most recent comments. Thanks again! 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #22 Withdrawn try taking out B&F from the middle and putting the blue color to the B&F on the top outside ring. Leave 40 years in the middle perhaps straight across and not curved 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #17 Withdrawn Thanks! I will try to get some feedback from some others to see if we need to keep the bridge. It seems like it would be so much easier and cleaner if we didn't include the bridge. 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #18 Withdrawn How would this look without the words being curved 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #17 Withdrawn A new set of designs is up, per your feedback! :) (I purged out all of the old designs to make things easier.) 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #4 Withdrawn I really appreciate all of the detailed feedback! I am working on revisions per your comments right now. 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #8 Withdrawn change font in circle to be less script due to language issues we need to be more simple in font choice 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #5 Withdrawn decided i like a white circle since it looks more like a baseball. 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #3 Withdrawn really like the font choice and placement on the outer circle. but would like to see 40 years placed differently. 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #6 Withdrawn try a logo without the bridge 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #8 Withdrawn the bridge proportion may be too small. how about if we took out the bridge? 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #6 Withdrawn I think the Baseball & Friends font needs to be less script like 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #13 Withdrawn not a fan of the color and i don't like the solid filled in background 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #4 Withdrawn perhaps the letter format of #5 with this graphic would look nice 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #5 Withdrawn I like how Baseball & Friends are larger than sister city and i like the stars but that is about all i like about this one 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #4 Withdrawn I like how it looks like a baseball. Can 40 Years be more prominent? Sister City tag line can be smaller font and rotated so 40 years is at the top or bottom 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #10 Withdrawn And just because I know one of our main uses is t-shirts... this would allow for a very easy and affordable 2-color screenprint for you guys. 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #9 Withdrawn New designs are up! Love the idea of bringing the hybrid bridge to the top... 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #6 Withdrawn Nice... thanks for the quick feedback! I will get some new designs posted up soon. 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #2 Withdrawn I really like this one too! I like the prominent placement of "Baseball & Friends" with the association name at the bottom. Struggling with the flag placement. But I just realized that a pennant is a good concept! 5 years ago jdiskin commented on #6 Withdrawn Very attracted to this! Can I see what if we reduce the font size of the outer circle which would allow for a bigger baseball in the inner circle. What if the "Baseball & Friends for 40 Years" were under the bridge? 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #6 Withdrawn New design that incorporates a custom baseball script font as well!... 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #3 Withdrawn We can also easily update colors on the fly to pretty much any combo you want!... :) 5 years ago GoodGuy Design commented on #2 Withdrawn Hello, Here is my idea for the logo design for your new 40th Anniversary mark! I think something very clean and bold is the way to go here—you don't want to get too cliparty or complicated with imagery. I think a simplified round emblem might do the trick. I can see this looking great on shirts and then maybe a simple logo of the '40 Years' portion for hats perhaps! Take a look when you get some time, review with others, etc., and we can go from there :) I look forward to any thoughts you might have, and will gladly provide swift revisions as needed. Thanks! - Jake 5 years ago
