simple imagery with the long leaf pine needles and cycling helmet. The green glasses play off of the popular glasses worn by Cavendish in the TdF this year. The design is simple and easy to reproduce on race bibs and t-shirts. Let me know how you feel about the design.
I really like the idea and script on 41. The helmet is cool but I think you should use a racing image instead. Definitely like the longleaf pine needles. Thanks!
62 is badass! I moved it to 2nd spot. The cyclist is too phallic looking. You change the cyclist and you move to 1 spot. The cyclist would have to get too big to but a white number 37 on his side?
hahhhahaha that is great! George is a friend of ours and one of our sponsors. He is the best guy in cycling. Our race is always the last saturday in April. In 1991 we had 225 pro am riders on the line. Last year only 55. We are trying to get back to the day. If you have time to try a more retro kind of thing, then do so. I like what you have done already though!
This logo may be a little before retro. The logo definitely has characteristics from the Southern Pines area. When you think of retro, are you thinking about Campy script logo?
I really like #98 but I like the 5 cyclists in the one that I have ranked 1st. Could you play around with it? Also, the color yellow the pine tree color and sky are great. Could you try another variation of green at the bottom and also play with brown. Thanks!!
What do you think about the brown in moore for 108? we are going to do cycling bibs and jerseys and will probably use the brown for our primary color and then green yellow and white. What do you think about making the cyclists bigger in 108? Will that look strange compared to the size of the pines?
Also, can you change the yellow on 94 to the same as 108?
I would be a little worried about the brown for "Moore" if the Jersey base color was going to be Brown. I will upload a brown background with the colors that I have now and then play around with different color schemes. Hopefully that will help. Look for updates soon.
Knowing that image may be used on cycling jerseys helps a lot. Cycling jerseys will be printed using sublimation so colors can be unlimited. I have cropped the trees and added a white stroke around the image to help "pop" the design. I am showing the "Moore" in brown on this design. I will upload another design having the "Moore" in Orange. Orange white and brown work well together. Let me know what you think.
I assume you will be using Hincappie for your jerseys. If we need to play around with the colors, it will be easy for them to do or simply send me the template with the base design and I can tweak the colors for you.
Not trying to confuse you, however yet another concept. Removed the trees and simply inserted a pine cone and needles. Just a thought???? Pine cone needs a little work, let me know if you like the concept and I will refine.
