#201 and #204 Ryan, what do you think of the open picture concept in comparison to the closed look in 181 and 187? I think I like it better because it allows the name to hold better attention, and I like how the swoops lead you into the name. You did well with the definition in the text for Realtor, GRI too. It is much more noticeable. Thank you.

1. Changing the line didn't do what I had thought, so Staying with #201 and #204 let's go back to the original line used in 181 and 187 but see if you can just give it a bit more color or boldness. Again, not too much. Just a shade or two.

What is your schedule like tonight? I am willing to stay up late, if you think we can pretty well wrap up any changes tonight. I am not sure how the next stage works that ends in a day from now. Will I get time to select a winner at that time, or is it whoever is in 1st place at the time automatically wins? Hope you are having a great night.

Sincerely,

Todd

By the way, the concern that was mentioned to me about the circle ones, is that when they are printed out, the black/grey portion of the circle just looks like a printing error in the background. So, my marketing friends were concerned that even though it looks nice on a screen... it may not turn out as pretty on paper. Thoughts?

#213 and #214. The line is better, but what if the darker portion was in the middle and the lighter portion on the outside. Similar to the way you had it in #181 and #183 except that now you have a thicker line so it will show up better. Keep the darker portion through the same portion where "Realtor GRI" runs, and lighten it out on either side. I think it should start with the yellow from the sun, move into the gold from the house and end with the yellow from the sun again. That will keep me from paying for more colors when I do my advertising.

Once we get the line accomplished.. I think the only thing I would really like you to fine tune is the sun. I have had a couple people mention that it just looks like another windmill in the background. So we may need to continue softening that up. But, lets get the line down first before we tackle that.

Thanks Ryan!!

I might have been wrong about keeping it darker where "Realtor GRI" runs through.. now that I think about it, that might make it heavy in the middle. Maybe the whole line needs to stay the same color? I don't know for sure, but I like the thickness of the line in the newer logos, but I like the color and the way it stands out better in the older versions. See what you can do. Thanks!

Thanks Ryan,

#222 and #223 I think the sun is looking good in the new versions, you can improve upon that at your own will. If you think you need to give it more color for it to stand out better, feel free or just leave it as is. I want to make sure it still stands out when it is printed on paper, so if you are comfortable that it will, then we are good.

The only thing that I would still like to work on is the line coloring. Please leave the thickness of the line just the way it is. I love the size and thickness of it.

However, I think I like the color variation of the line in #181 (gold and yellow) ... and I think now that you have increased the thickness of the line.. that color variation will stand out better than it did in 181. Could we please try that for both #222 and #223?

Please and Thanks!

Sincerely,

Todd

Notice the logo in 4th place right now and how he just gives the impression of a rising sun with some shading of the color yellow..., but you don't really see a sun per se. This is kind of the idea I was trying to convey to you for the background.

Like I said earlier though. Lets get the line completed and then you can fine tune anything you want to.

Sincerely,

Todd

#228 Ryan, it just keeps getting better and better. Can we see this one in a vertical version, as well?

This is more than likely the one we will go for, so for the remainder of the contest... just think of any way possible to fine tune everything so that when it is printed.. it is crisp, clear, balanced and beautiful!

I may not be in touch until tomorrow morning. Have a great day!

You RoCk!

#237 Hi Ryan, Did you change the sun in this one, there seems to be some red in it? Are you able to remove the red and make it look just like the sun in #228. Also, I notice the cityscape is shaded differently on both? Can you make the revision for this to look like the cityscape in #228 also, please. The only variation should be Vertical vs. Horizontal. and then my last question to you is.. Does the name stand out enough in both of these logos in comparison to the picture. Let me know your thoughts on that question. Thanks.

By the way #236 is absolutely beautiful. It's almost too beautiful though because it takes away from the name and all you see is the pretty picture! LOL

Todd

Hello Ryan: Are you still working on a landscape version of #240?

Are you saying you can no longer provide the one I requested? I requested the landscape version of #240 at 5:27 p.m Ryan. The contest didn't end until 12:00p.m. You submitted 6 or more designs after 5:27 but didn't give me the one I asked for? Can I contact customer service to ask them to allow you to submit the one I requested? I am not sure how to proceed and I don't want to accept #240 without any guarantee that I will get the one I want. Please help!

Sincerely,

Todd

Ryan, I sent the following message to customer service to see if they will allow you to send the one I need. I am just horrified that everything went so well and now you tell me that you can no longer provide the right one. Why would they not let you provide what I have asked for? I sure hope they will take care of this matter for both of us. Thanks again Ryan, and let me know if you hear anything!

Dear Madam/Sir:

I requested to see #240 in Landscape instead of vertical, but the designer, Ryanuste, was busy at the time. Later, he submitted 6 or more varieties of logos after the timestamp of my request, but didn't submit the one I asked for. I am assuming he did not see it in-between submissions.

He says it's too late for him to submit it now that the contest is over, and that we would have to do it after I declare a winner. I asked for the revision PRIOR to the end of the contest. Ryan is so wonderful and we have had a great relationship. I want him to win and I don't want our relationship ruined by having to pick another logo.

Can you please allow him to submit the one I need, so that I can declare the winner and end the contest.

Please advise.
