#270 - moved the utensils with ribbon up and then rotated the ribbon tails down so they rest even with where they were before.
Let me know if you want more space between the utensils & the words.
Great! Thanks!
I'll separate the words from the utensils a bit more and resubmit.
For the icon, I think I prefer the corrected version (#260) of your initial choice (#248). I prefer this over the one where the spoon is flush with the corners.
If you'd like to see a gradient on this, or a white background just let me know. I'd be happy to upload different color options of this particular design.
#269 - I pivoted the ribbon tails down away from the words and removed most of the upward curl. The whisk on this entry & #268 is the simplified whisk from #267.
Let me know if these need more adjusting. Thanks! Pam
#267 - moved the ribbon and utensils up away from words. Revised the whisk by removing another wire and eliminating the band at the top of the handle. Then I pivoted the ends of the ribbon down so they aren't too far away from the words.
Let me know if this needs more adjusting. :)
This is the image we most like. I would move the top ribbon+utensils altogether a bit upwards, so that the whis is not almost touching the "C", still watching that the ribbon is not very far apart. Maybe the ribbon's ends need to be lowered a bit too. Make sense?
From my designer: I also like how the utensils fit in between the two words (images 1 and 2). However I don't like how the ribbon is almost touching the words. In my opinion the ribbon should either merge with the letters or be further apart. For image 1 I would try to end up the lace straight without the curls and see how it looks.
For all these three I would still check how a more iconic, less detailed whisker would look, unless the designer already tried that and found out it doesn't work. For all these three I would still check how a more iconic, less detailed whisk would look, unless the designer already tried that and found out it doesn't work.
Once these minor details are set I think you could have two versions of the logo. A more horizontal one (in the lines of images 1 and 2) and a more square one (link in image 3). In that way you will be able to apply the logo freely according to the needs of each special design project in the future. It's totally valid and many brands have different versions for different purposes. You should also keep the icon you sent me at the beginning.
#263 - Kept all 3 utensils, but simplified the whisk. No bottom ribbon.
If I interpreted your A directions incorrectly, please let me know. I'll be glad to revise & resubmit.
#262 This is the one I came up with before I read your last comment. It's no taller than #259. I changed the utensils to all spoons, 3 different colors, and reduced their size.
Now I'll work on the ideas you/your designer came up with.
Thanks so much for working with me! Pam
Yeah, I agree. I got some feedback from my in-house designer who agrees with you too. She had some suggestions on how to maybe approach.
It does look like a dragonfly or a match with a tutu :(
And I don't think the ribbon in the spoon is co-existing gracefully with the bottom ribbon, being so close together and non-aligned.
Maybe we can keep all 3 of the spoon, whisk, and spatula. She suggested simplifying the whisk a little bitt to make it a bit less detailed)
If the elements are in between the two words I think they should be aligned with the center of the ribbon. I know "cocina" is larger than "toda": that's tricky.
Adding up, I would suggest:
A. Use the original logo making the whisk less detailed and leaving the top ribbon.
B. Try using the trio in the ribbon (but a shorter one) and place them in between the two words. No other ribbons. Trying both the curled-up ribbon and the straight ribbon used for the icons.
I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I like it, just interpreting the bottom ribbon as sort of an embellished underscore.
But I also think it sort of conflicts with the ribbon on the spoon and seems irrelevant since it no longer mirrors what was on top.
I do like the angled spoon with the ribbon. It definitely ties the icon to the logo.
I'll see what other options I can come up with for the logo.
Revised icon with the adjusted angle of the spoon, and the spoon ends flush with the rounded corners.
Please let me know what other adjustments/revisions you would like to see. I'd be more than happy to provide more logo and icon options.
Thanks for your interest in my designs! Pam
Hi there, Pam. I got some feedback from my in house designers. They like this icon the best. But they did have overall feedback on the icon and the logo. Here goes: Still some comments: love the utensils, however they might be too detailed for a logo in general and they might be too many elements for a web logo in particular. Should take up less height space, in my opinion.
I would: leave the bottom/underline ribbon. Get rid of the top one. Use the spoon and ribbon ONLY maybe between "Toda" and "Cocina" in a diagonal, emulating a slash and imitating the icon's layout.
Icon:
We think this one looks good! If they can fix the spoon to match the square's diagonal I think it could look more precise.
Hi,
Let me know if any of these latest icons are getting close to what you are looking for. I'll revise whatever you want - feel free to make suggestions. Thanks!
I don't dislike them...but they are not as elegant as the logo itself. I know this is hard because the logo is so intricate--but like something simple that will be symbolic of the logo like the F of Facebook or G of Google--etc.
#247, #248, #249, #250
Hi,
Here are just a few ideas of what can be done for your icon. The finished icon could have gradients, different color arrangements etc. Whatever you prefer. :)
Pam
Hi #242 thru #246 are different font options. I can provide more if you prefer something else. Just let me know if you'd like sans serif, serif, or script, and I'd be happy to oblige. Thanks!
Thanks! I'm so glad you like it! I'll work on some different font options.
For the icon, I was thinking one option could be the "T" and the "C" slightly offset (T higher than the C), with the spoon on a slight diagonal between them. The T and C, and the spoon could be white with the coral color behind the T and the blue green behind the C. Or it could be all one color, with the white letters and spoon. I'm sure there are other options I could come up with; this is what came to mind first. :)
I really like this logo. I´d like to see it with some other fonts as well. I like the colors--particularly the blue-green color. What would you suggest for the bug-icon for social media?

They are quite pulled together. I would just try to separate a bit the words from the utensils in both cases. Other than that, they look good to me!
So, with those changes and the final icon (what would you suggest)--I think we are almost at the finish line.

In the meantime, I did come up with another idea which I will upload now.
