Thanks for these. There are some great ideas here. If you haven't already, please check the general discussion section for some generic comments. Several of these - #28 #20 #19 etc. can all be read as too many different letter/number combinations. i.e. I see i3 in #28 more that tB, or an 8 in #20. I can see the tb, but I'm afraid others won't. Thanks again, and please keep posting.
General comment for all designers: Would still like to see some options with color, maybe some gloss, a little more polished high tech feel. Again the B&W comment is only a suggestion for when ( and if) engraved, not a requirement - we want something that has a strong and simple enough form to also work as B&W, but it can have more depth and be more dynamic on the website, in print, etc. Still looking for more "assembled" feel. They all look great, but would like a little more variety early on to help set a final direction and tone. So far most are very similar. We don't want to be locked in to a particular theme or style too early. Thanks again, and great job so far!
Could you please do a couple of variations on #27? We'd like to see one with the same font, but with one word bolder than the other - like #25. Also, can you do that new one with the TB above (like #27 is now), and one with the TB next to the text (like #19). Thanks, and please keep the great work coming.
Thanks, these are great. Can you please do something with a glossier feel as well - maybe versions of #60 #61? Also, not sure if there is anything you can do to help the B read a little better, but sometimes I still see it as a 3. It depends on whether I am reading the figure or the ground, but there may be times when we don't have the TinkerBrick text, so we want them to read as clearly as possible. Of course it will always be a little bit subjective, so not everyone will read it the same every time. And lastly, we'd still like to explore incorporating color somehow. Thanks again!
Also, please keep thinking about assembling the pieces to make the letters. Maybe some blocky and some curvy parts, etc. Sorry to be somewhat vague, but we're not sure exactly what we are looking for yet. These are very close, but not quite there yet, so please feel free to try new directions. Again, these look great and we really appreciate all the great effort. Thanks!
These new ones look great, thanks! We are receiving a ton of submissions in the last few hours, and unfortunately we don't feel like we have time to thoughtfully consider all the entries before close of the open phase. We are going to take some time to discuss all of these here and make our final 5 decision some time after the close of the open phase. Please feel free to keep submitting until that time. We will do one last ranking as shortly after the close as possible, to lock down the final 5. We will be in touch with the final 5 once we have decided, and we will try not to change those top 5 once they are determined. Thanks again for all your terrific effort.
Thanks for all the great entries, and welcome to our final 5. Can you please provide a "glossy" version of #60, and maybe one that incorporates some color? Can you also try some variations on the t? Maybe square off the ends, or some detail in the corners, etc? Thanks again and we look forward to more!
Thanks. #149 looks like a variation on #60, but now it reads too much like i3. Can you do one of #60 as it is, but glossy, and maybe a version of #149 where the t doesn't break the edges so much? Thanks again, we appreciate the great effort.
