Thanks for these. Please see the general discussion for some generic comments. These are nice, but I'm having trouble seeing the tb. I know what to look for so I can se it, but I'm afraid the general public might not. There may be times (engraved on a case for example) when we wouldn't have the text "TinkerBrick," so the tb needs to be as clear as possible. Also, the idea of assemblage is very important - smaller parts put together to make a greater whole. Thanks again, and I look forward to more.
General comment for all designers: Would still like to see some options with color, maybe some gloss, a little more polished high tech feel. Again the B&W comment is only a suggestion for when ( and if) engraved, not a requirement - we want something that has a strong and simple enough form to also work as B&W, but it can have more depth and be more dynamic on the website, in print, etc. Still looking for more "assembled" feel. They all look great, but would like a little more variety early on to help set a final direction and tone. So far most are very similar. We don't want to be locked in to a particular theme or style too early. Thanks again, and great job so far!
Hi Deux, Sorry to see you stopped posting. I like much of the work on your profile page - Tate Actuarial, FiveOne, High End Media, Wychmere, etc. We'd love to see some fresh ideas for our little contest, and you don't even need to use any swooshes!
Haaaaaaaah! Hey J..... with all kidding aside, i am actually hitting my head on the wall to come up with something not already taken by other designers :( It's just that a TB letter mark can be quite tiresome to be genuine........

Thanks for giving it another shot, and glad I gave you a laugh. Appreciate the effort, and can relate to the hitting head. The custom type is very impressive. The tb is still a bit hard to read though - the t is clear but the b is harder to pick out. Any chance of exploring something with more figure ground? Or more distinct "pieces" that come together (with figure ground) to make the 2 letters? Still really looking for something that feels assembled - like the way your Tate Actuarial feels sort of stacked, somewhat puzzle piece like. Might be willing to stretch the clarity of the letters if it gives you more latitude to experiment with the "assembled" vocabulary. Thanks again, we really appreciate the effort.

We are receiving a ton of submissions in the last few hours, and unfortunately we don't feel like we have time to thoughtfully consider all the entries before close of the open phase. We are going to take some time to discuss all of these here and make our final 5 decision some time after the close of the open phase. Please feel free to keep submitting until that time. We will do one last ranking as shortly after the close as possible, to lock down the final 5.
