The 1916 is a bit different. Thanks. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1f70wrhxqlv1kjg/Old%20English%20B%20Logo.pdf?dl=0 5 years ago David commented on #122 Withdrawn #137 - cup size reduced and B+1916 5 years ago David commented on #132 Withdrawn #136 -reduced - 20% 5 years ago David commented on #122 Withdrawn Understood. Let me please prepare the first version, with the cup reduced in size and then i'll work this one. Shouldn't take long. 5 years ago mparoly commented on #122 Withdrawn For this version, can we use same "Tin Cup" font and same cup as #132, reduce size of "B" and add "1916" on the cup just below the B . Our Club was founded in 1916 so we ususlaly pair the Old English B and 1916 for our "traditional" logo vs our Coat of Arms. 5 years ago David commented on #132 Withdrawn i just need a moment. thank you. 5 years ago mparoly commented on #132 Withdrawn This is strong! Maybe reduce size of cup to about 75% so it does not overwhelm lettering. 5 years ago David commented on #131 Withdrawn made it a bit larger, so you can get all the details . cup reworked, more gloss less black . rearranged text a little, your emblem in the middle. 5 years ago mparoly commented on #102 Withdrawn Yes, you absolutely have permission to use coat of arms. That is an asset owned by us (Birmingham Country Club). 5 years ago David commented on #102 Withdrawn side question : do i have permission to use the coat of arms ? - we are not allowed to use materials we did not create ourselves... 5 years ago David commented on #102 Withdrawn I'll give it a try. Might take a while :) Thanks a lot. 5 years ago mparoly commented on #102 Withdrawn I really like this iteration. Given the Old English B on the cup, maybe a plainer font for the"Tin Cup" header similar to the font used for "Pro-Am Invitational" but bold with some dimension/shading. On the cup itself, maybe lighten it up and eliminate the pure black shading so it has a more metallic (tin) look. Another alternative would be to use our coat of arms on the cup instead of the B. The coat of arms can be viewed at www.bhamcc.com. Probably want to use a black/white simplified version of the coat of arms. Thank you!! 5 years ago David commented on #118 Withdrawn might be a bit too much ... 5 years ago David commented on #102 Withdrawn revision : tin cup centered side view. reworked a bit the B in the middle...a bit more depth . Tin Cup text engraved antique style -old english type . bottom text straightened. A few details corrected . thank you. 5 years ago David commented on #89 Withdrawn maybe you have a font preference for the Tin Cup ? Keep the old english/german font ? got it about the bottom text. 5 years ago mparoly commented on #89 Withdrawn Nice! Can we try different fonts for “Tin Cup”? As I look, no need to curve “Birmingham Country Club”. Thanks. 5 years ago David commented on #87 Withdrawn roger that. 2 versions then. 5 years ago mparoly commented on #87 Withdrawn Oh, and maybe delete the golf clubs. Thanks again. 5 years ago David commented on #87 Withdrawn better move the B ... the angled view of the cup is part of the artistic overall appearance :) . I'll prepare a version with the B relocated. 5 years ago mparoly commented on #87 Withdrawn You have the curvature correct - I described it backwards I guess. The cup is at an angle (based on handle position) so can the “B” move over and be angled so it looks like it is engraved on the center of cup? Or leave “B” where it is but have cup at a right angle with handle straight out to side? 5 years ago David commented on #87 Withdrawn i have fulfilled all your requests, except : the curvature of text i have it reversed ... top text curved upwards and lower text downwards ... i tried your way and it didn't look too good... but , if you want i can send over a version with upper text curved downwards and the lower one upwards. thank you . 5 years ago mparoly commented on #86 Withdrawn Great. Thanks! 5 years ago David commented on #86 Withdrawn doable. i need a little time to prepare it. Thank you. 5 years ago mparoly commented on #86 Withdrawn Interesting! Can we have solid black letters for "Tin Cup" rather than white center? Maybe "Tin Cup" curved downward. "Pro-Am Invitational" instead of just "Invitational"? Add "Birmingham Country Club" at bottom, in smaller lettering, perhaps curved upwards. Finally, coudl we add an engraved Old English "B" to the cup? 5 years ago
