Can we soften up the sharp parts somehow?

A bit to sharp, kinda looks like a weapon.

make an owl shape that combines the location icon along with the destination plan on the beak and neck

I'm not against the idea, it's a nice concept. But i'm not sure if specifically meerkat have the right "visual appeal".

I made a meerkat face because I thought your brief was leaning towards that animal
has excellent hunting significance and has a clear dominance hierarchy
even have very sharp instincts like the tracking you have in the brief

Modern, clean.
The text is not to important, focus is mainly on the logomark.

Need to work both in big format as logotype with the text, but also standalone in both round (google search and such) and also square avatar (like app logo and favicon/bookmark).

No clear vision on what element to use for the logomark, open for everything from playing with letters to only using colors/forms or even icons.

Do you have a suggestion for an idea that you would like to include in the logo?
whatever your ideas are so that I can think of a clearer concept of direction that is specific to your wishes
