Hello and thank you for work. We love your design (#2), but would also like to see a version where the company name is offset to the side of the tree. Maybe make the "Builders & Design" a bit more loud. Great work!
Another possible idea that we have would be considered is to add the element of water into the design.
We will be discussing many of your designs later tonight and we like like most of them. As for now, I was wondering if there is anyway for you to make #20 and/or #16 with larger print and a larger tree, such as in logo # 3. Perhaps the sizing is irrelevant because of the ability to resize? I am not familiar with the processes, however I really like how #3 stands out and appears large.
Thanks again, and we (our entire team) will be commenting more later this evening.
We are leaning towards this design and appreciate all the time you have put into it. We like #2 as it is, but after some discussion we think we would like it more if you could add a border around the entire design.
This is what we would love to see:
A circle (open bottom) around the tree that sits on top of a rectangle around the business name. For lack of a better representation, think birds-eye view of a toilet shape with the bowl facing upwards. Please send over any questions you may have and thanks again for your help.
Can we see the #3 logo w/ the previously described border and make the tree and "Builders & Design" in the Go daddy orange color? Sorry for all the requests, I am now getting input from a few colleagues and we are honing in on our vision.
Hi, I just uploaded new variations and I must say that using a border around the logo is something I'd strongly advise against. The logo is not symmetrical which makes the white space inside the frame distributed unequally. To be honest with you, I think #33 is the way to go if you want to introduce another (orange) color. Not having a border makes the logo look nice, fresh and modern. Closing it in a border makes the logo look not very professional, at least form my point of view as a designer.
Also, having an owl incorporated into the logo, we have to keep in mind that the owl might not be visible/recognisable when the small version of the logo is used. Therefore, #20 looks good, but might not work so great on a small printing materials like business cards. #33 is perfectly balanced though. I hope this explanation helps a bit.
Thank you for your comments. As for the owl, we really want the owl, but if it does not appear in every size (depending on application) that is ok. It is subtle and is more of a small detail that is less important then the overall logo, meaning the identifiability of the owl is not as important to us. The border (toilet shape) that we requested is a vision of the business owner and although your opinion is noted, it appears that is the style he is seeking.
All in all we love your designs but it looks like the overall shape and bordering is important to my colleagues.
We think we are going with your #47 design. We have one last request and I'm hoping it is an easy change for you. I have been requested to ask if you could fill #47's circle (interstitial space) with the color orange, and change the "Builders & Design" color to Black. If we can see this version we will compare it to #47 as is and will be going with either of the two.
We were thinking of having the inside of the circle filled with orange. Black Tree, Black name, black owl, black circle border with orange fill. Inside circle filled with orange.
