You're extra work is really showing - I like where you are going with this. Let me do a little customizing that should be easy for you. Try one with a bag of candy in the Tiger's mouth and give him "Happier" eyes. They seem like he's Guarding the candy... Not sure if i like the square background or the circle. Hi Pam Niell, Hope you doin well..Sorry for the delay as I was working very hard on your character(The Tiger)..Although I'm designing other client's logos but believe me I've worked very hard for your contest, as I told you that I'm a professional artist(digital & manual character designer)..You can see my own logo in my profile which I've painted my self on "Digital Tablet"..I've done each & everything neat & cleanly in an appropriate way..I firstly illustrate that "candy bag" in detail..Then I sketch that tiger as a character then I illustrated that tiger...You can see the tiger's stripes(offside the body) are in different style.. A happy face as you asked..A yummy tongue...Shadow perspective are so detailed..Colors are balanced..Infect a logo that could catch every one's eyes indeed.You can use that character as 3d character,animated movies or cartoons, web, print, T-shirt etc..Hope you'd like my new character which I've created from the bottom of my heart just for you.
I agree, it's a nice lookin' Tiger and you've put some work in there. But so have I... and the concept of the yellow/golden ring with the happy tiger arm stickin' out of the ring is a bit too similar to what I've already done, even though the tiger character differs.
I'm not gonna go all "LogoCourt" on you here, because I believe the Contest Holder can distinguish enough between the different logos. However, if you manage to go further with this layout concept, I will have to have a discussion with CH and you.
If this was a remake of an existing logo, I would have no problem with this, but now it's about a new one. And I'm still puttin' in more hours of work to adjust and revise the logo according to CH's requests.
I understand what you are saying, but you also have to understand that this is not about the level of detail. It's about how a concept is used/presented. If you've voted on any logo court you ought to know this.
I fully understand that there probably will be a plethora of happy tigers holding a bag of snacks before this contest ends, and that the CH concept/brief guides us all, as always.
What I'm saying is that I think that the logo is too similar in the overall concept: 1. Circle is almost identical: Yellow to orange shading, white inner circle and red background. 2. Tiger holding stretched out arm to the right, coming out of the circle holding a candy bag. ...and holding it with one finger or with three or four or level of detail doesn't matter.
I just thought you at least could have considered another colour layout on the circles...
This is my opinion. I'm not going to pursue this or discuss it further. As I said; CH has a good head and can distinguish between the two designs.
