Hi!

I've read your project brief carefully, but wanted to offer something more symbolic/elegant, and not so obvious/cartoonish/comic related.

Here's the concept: Apple ( Big Apple >>> NYC), cut in half, unveiling abstract human figure in form of a flower, thriving/growing on the sun in the background.

This would be more simpler, symbolic approach, with strong story behind it, contemporary and pro-looking. Also this design form alows logo icon to be detached as recognizable stand-alone mark!

Hope you'll like this idea and different approach, and feel free to suggest potential improvements! Thank you!
