Would it be possible to change the gold circle around the Bible to be almost like a pair of hands holding it? (Or receiving it?)

We like the modern simplicity of this logo.

We like this design, but the logo part doesn't really communicate "Bible" just yet. (Though we do like the cross)
Is there a way to make it look more like a Bible?)
