I like the broad range of ideas that you've provided. I currently have #43 ranked First, and I like the fact that it seems to have two or three images. I can definitely see the eye, but the grey and blue elements almost seem to look like hands, and the red element seems to make it appear as a flag. I can also almost see bird wings and a fish motif. Don't know if you intended all of these, but regardless it's very attractive work.
I have also currently ranked #53 and #42 sixth and seventh respectively. They are different but interesting ideas. #51 is the monochromatic version of #53, and I don't feel it's as effective. I appreciate the different choice of colours for #49, but I still think I prefer #43.
The ones that don't resonate with me are #50, #48, #47, #46 and #45 but I still think they're interesting ideas and thank you for submitting them. Thank you very much for your work so far, it really first rate.
I have pruned your contenders down to the strongest of the three. I still really like #43, it seems like a very clean, purposeful, multi-motif design. #53 and #42 are both good as well, but not quite the same fit as #43. Thanks, and good luck in this next round.
A quick question after consulting with the company that will be doing the logo merchandise. The area of overlap between the grey and blue elements in #43...is that a distinct colour or simply a blending of the other two colours? They have some concerns about the blending of the stitching in that area. Please let me know when you can. Thank you!
Actually, I think that answers the question, for now. Let’s leave it as it. Worst case, we might have to pick either the grey or the blue element and ‘overlap’ the other, but I think I can use my imagination on this one. Thanks for your continuing interest in this project.
