Thank you very much for your very strong entry, it's very much appreciated. I think what's quite amazing about it is the very simple and elegant form which actually embodies a few different motifs: I can see the eye, of course, but I also see two birds. One facing left with wings outstretched, and one facing right with wings folded. The idea of birds (specifically doves) which convey peach and tranquility is a compelling them and relates well to what we are trying to accomplish with TheUnblinkingEye. At first, I thought it was quite similar to an airline logo I had seen once, but a quick search turned up nothing in this regard. Thanks again, for this entry, and given that I have ranked your logo, good luck in the next round.
Thank you very much for your additional submissions, but I still think I prefer the elegant simplicity of #111. The only question I have at this point is whether you think an additional colour element, of some sort, might work? The initial logo merchandise will be a dark (likely black) dress shirt, and I’m thinking it might need some additional colour? But mostly, I don’t want to interfere with your vision of how this logo should appear.
Thanks very much for the quick response to my earlier comment. I think that #149 and #150 move your design forward, although I’m not sure which of the two I prefer. But what I’m going to do is replace #111 with #150 to more accurately reflect the desired goal at this time. Of your new designs, I like #147 more than #148, but neither of them more than your original design which I still think is beautiful and simple.
