I like the barrels. The font is pretty fun as well and I like the orientation of the words to eachother. What is the concept with the red background - bricks? Not a motif that works for this region. Think New England seaside town - no brick buildings.

the background is wood grain not brick

BTW I am from the Maritimes (Nova Scotia) :)

I LOVE the wood grain concept - it is huge around here...but the color is the seaside weathered grey. I imagine the grey could be too dismal??

I'm having trouble with the colors - specifically the red. I like the use of barrels, and I do like the use of the circle in the first one. (just noticed the W on the barrels and I like that too!) For some reason, I keep thinking a golden yellow (warm) would be nice to incorporate - what do you think?

how about a worn teal look and feel, it bright fresh clean like being on the east coast

Client
sure - what about if barrels were 'just brown' and Wellfleet was golden yellow? probably would look ridiculous huh?

I've liked the addition of the black & gold motif

I've done a couple of bottle submission but to me a bottle in logo for a brewing company is odd...like car companies..no car manufacturer uses a car shape in their brand logo.

Cape Cod like the Nova Scotia is all about incredible coast lines

Though a bottle cap might be interesting #35

great re-works! I really like #41! To me, it seems prudent to have something that could be 'stamped' on any surface. Your point about car companies is valid - but it seems those are much more 'emotional' purchases. WHich beer is as well...so I don't know. I like your wave concept and agree - the cape is about its beaches.

good idea as a stamp so lets make it a wee bit more worn (aged)

#46 is really cool as well....i'm thinking pretty simple though - so even #46 as simple as it is, might be busier than I'm thinking

if a beer bottle has to be used then to really pull it off the design has to be unique and I've accomplished this with creating a W with the bottles and it preserves my use of the coast beach concept.

an idea I have for the use of waves in this case "The 3 Waves" could be used for some sort of promotional event etc Catch "the 3 Waves' maybe even 3 bottles of beer (think dunking for apples). or even make up a new song "3 bottles of bear on the wave" (think 99 bottles of beer).
