#6 - #7 - #8 Obviously, the Est. 1880 can change to whatever year is accurate or more apropos. Like including it for authenticity's sake; a nod to classic signs/logos of a time and place.
Thanks for submitting more designs, these are great! In particular we like the idea of #30 but would be interested in seeing it with different fonts/colors. Can we also see #27 and #21 and #30 in a graphic outline(not necessarily a rectangle) so we can visualize what an outdoor sign would look like. For reference we have attached a photo with some shapes we are thinking.
I'm noticing more 'signs' at this point. Signage is obviously an important consideration. Trying to concentrate on a logo; for letterhead, merchandise, menus, etc. Are you wanting to see more sign options? Or just trying to see how certain logos will look when applied to a sign? Thanks, Geoff (A-ha)
Definitely more interested in signage for the big sign outside (#46 and #41 are very good). That can naturally translate to collateral once we get there (receipts, postcards, etc.).
There is another guy in the competition who introduced this little bird idea. We think its very clever to have a sub icon. Badges, guns, etc. Not sure where that may apply in the logos/signs you posted but some food for thought. Maybe you have some ideas on ways to incorporate.
Something to consider about #95 -- they had paint then. It would have been nothing for a sign maker to whitewash a board, carve the lettering, and apply colors—muted as they may have been. Some weathering would be natural. So this is a take on that very premise. A different take color-wise to be sure. Just throwing it out there... Thanks!
