The Sports RDLogo Design Contest

This is correct. I want to be crystal clear. We are not allowed to offer any extra services while the contest is still open. This rule was made to prevent a client choosing a logo as a winner just because the designer offers extra services. So under normal circumstances, I would not have proposed that deal. However, since the website development takes a lot of time, and you are 100% certain that my logo is the winner, I don’t influence your decision, just speeding up the process.
There will not be any extra charge as I realise your conflict and your desire to achieve the perfect result for you.
And yes, after the end of the contest, you get the source files. These files are very easy to handle even by a web developer to change colors. These are the files the printing shop or another designer uses to create your collateral.
Of course, you can leave the contest open even for 3 months and decide then. I think 3 months is the period that a contest is allowed to stay open. After that, LogoTournament chooses a winner (the first ranked one).
I forgot to mention that after the end of the contest, you get a contract that contains the designer’s personal email so you can communicate directly if you want.
I hope now you have a clear idea of how things work.

So if I'm understanding, I should "end" the contest and then work with my website developer to decide on the two colors I like and you will change the logo to match what we choose? Would there be any additional charges for that? Also, when I choose, do I also get the file that will enable me to use the logo for business cards, other branding, etc?

I am so glad when a client speaks his opinion instead of just letting me wonder what is going on.
Since color is a major issue for you, I am going to propose the following. Color is going to show more on your website as there will be a lot of colorful space in it. That said, you could work with your developers and find the perfect colors for you. So since your choice is clearly one of my logos, you can finalise the contest and get this logo and when you are ready with the colors of your choice, you can contact me and I promise to give the full file set with your new colors. Is that helpful?

And FYI, branding, logo creation, all this is brand new for a new business I'm creating, hence the slow going and naïveté.

Hi. Just a quick update and to be transparent. This/your design is my first choice. What I'm struggling with however, and why it's taking me so long, (and last night I became clear to me) that what's not 100% for me is the colors I've chosen/recommended/suggested. They're just not giving me the "THAT'S IT!!!" factor.

I don't want to keep dragging this out and keeping you hanging so to speak, but I'm not sure what to do if I'm not entirely convinced about color. What should I do?

Hi. I've got some feedback from people developing my website and other trusted folks and they like the colors in #111 that you did. Is it possible to do a mock up of this design with those colors of #111. Also the same with design #143? It's down to these final two...You've created such a cool logo that I can't decide!!! Hi. I also like this, but again, with the more teal and berry color combo. I also wonder about 3 "stripes" below instead of 4, something about the balance of 3. My eye is also drawn to the diagonal of the stripes against the straight up and down of the "R" in RD and it feels a bit off some how. Sorry, does that make sense? Thank you.

Hi Dzains. Thank you for your great work. Your designs are my final picks, but I wonder if you could play with some color combos? I like the deeper red/berry color in #114, and I also like a slightly more teal blue. I wonder how that would look? I also wonder about a different less "chunky" font?. Could you play with a deeper teal and berry color combo?

All that sounds great. If you look at the logos I chose as inspiration and ones I liked, I'm kind of drawn to some sort of purple/gold or yellow combo..,not sure why and maybe it would look awful, but I'll let you go for it with colors and see what pops. Talk tomorrow. Thank you
