Hi there,
Thanks for keeping me in the loop. Any minor tweaks after the 20th wont be a problem. Upon completion of the contest, I can supply you with my email and phone number.
Hi Glendon! I just wanted to give an update on our logo timeline. I'm meeting with our Marketing Committee next week to discuss, however, we cannot vote on the logo until our General Meeting on September 20. Whatever we choose next week will likely get voted in, however, I just wanted to keep you in the loop that a final decision can't be made until Sept 20. I asked LogoTournament.com if it's possible for us to pick your logo next week, but if it's possible we need to make any tweaks after Sept 20 if we were allowed to do that. I apologize for all the steps, however, our conference needs to vote on this type of change. Any questions, I would be happy to chat on the phone too, just let me know.
Ok starting to get some feedback. A couple of negatives. They want more time to discuss before accepting. A few guys weren’t there today so they want them in the loop. I’m trying to get them on board but I’m waiting for more direction from them.
One comment was to see what it looks like with the wave and the S slightly separated. I don't know if this is going to look good, but they wanted to see the wave "finished" on the "S" side. Not sure that makes sense.
Thanks! I didn't get to show them this, but the feedback was VERY positive at the meeting. Guys are going to digest it and get back to me. I will keep you posted, but I think we are there!
I like this wave a lot. I'm not sure I love it splitting the S like this. I also really like this simple font too. How else can we incorporate this wave?
This is still everyone's favorite out of these designs. My only wish is to have a very recognizable brand that can be used without the whole conference name, which is why I keep asking for a "wave" of some sort. Something unique to our conference, where we can still use "The Shore" but with like a squigly wave or something that would be instantly recognizable as ours. Then we can use the logo in full, or just the "signature" portion of it. Similar to what the Big 10, Big 12, and Conference USA does (with the 'star')
OK, I got crushed on this by my committee - they said the wave reminds them of Jaws. They want it to be integrated more subtly. They love using the state of NJ. I found this wave style that I think they may like. https://www.freepik.com/free-vector/pack-of-wave-logos_1103467.htm - the one in the top right corner. Any ideas?
I love this idea! ok, can we simplify the wave so it's not "3d"? I am just thinking about how this will print on a t-shirt or embroider on a polo shirt. Also, I'm not crazy about the "banner" under shore that Conference is written in. Any other ideas how we can change that?
Here are a few more options using a new container. #150 and #151 both include waves at the bottom. The established date can be left out, or replaced with a star if you like. #151 uses the initials as a focal point while #150 uses the full name. #149 uses the new container with the banners from #99
Thanks,
Glendon
Thank you. I uploaded a few options for you. #144 places emphasis on the shore over the shield option. #146 shows the same in a red option while #147 shows it on a dark background.
I also wanted to show that all of the designs I submitted can be reduced to a single color if needed as shown in #148
Let me know if you need any more revisions.
Thanks,
Glendon
Thank you for the feedback.
If you need any revisions you will need to place one of my designs in 1st place. During this phase of the contest, only the 1st ranked designer can submit revisions.
Thanks,
Glendon
Thanks...I like the direction. I meeting with the committee today to discuss these options. It seems a little out of balance and also a lot going on. I'm looking to get "The Shore" prominent, simple, yet powerful. We are close!
Here it is without the extended "S"
I also added the 6 stars to represent the 6 classes like in my prior design.
Design #100 is the same but with a circular wave emblem added.
Now we are getting close! I really like how this is all ties in. Not sure about the S stretching all the way across, but I like the flow of this one a lot
Thank you!
I am at the opposite end of the parkway from you. I submitted another design with waves included #58 . Let me know if you want to see anything else.
Thanks,
Glendon
This is awesome. Love the state in the "O". Very traditional and strong. Not sure if there is a way to see another version that plays more on the "shore" concept (a wave or something)

Removed the extra detail in the wave and replaced the banner with dropped text.
