Here is my entry for your review. I created a heart-shaped logomark, made from abstract figures and a heart with a globe-type feel. I tried to visually portray what you do in the most creative, yet simple way possible. This would work great at all sizes from large signage down to small embroidery, and everything in between. Let me know if you would like to see any alternate color options, and I will be happy to submit some more ideas.

Added the slogan...

I like the design concept. Need to have the full name (i.e., "The Rutledge Family Foundation"), though --- which you got in the latest iteration (v.4). Thanks!

#3 looks, to me, too much like the Marriage Encounter logo. I'd be worried about an infringement suit...

I like the text. It's clean and great. And I think I like the logo, too --- but I'm not sure I'd be able to explain it. Maybe something a bit less abstract?

Thanks for all of the feedback. Here is a more direct approach: the heart as a stylized globe texture/look. I will remove the other ones you spoke of--I would like to see this other logo though, to be sure I stay away from that direction.

Thanks again!

Wow. I really like this. Great work. I'll show it to my wife ASAP.

Instead of the schematic within the heart, maybe we add a bunch of human figurines? I'm thinking stick people or something to represent the multitudes we hope to help...

Here is a new layout, per your requests. Let me know if you would like to see some additional options.
Thanks!

Fantastic! This is great! I'd love to see some of your other ideas, too!

Maybe let's try without the grid in the heart?

Here is an alternate version without the globe lines... Let me know if you would like to see anything else changed/added.
Thanks!

I really like it. Let's have all of the folks reaching for a star (instead of one for a star and the other two for a heart)? And let's make the "THE" just initially capped?

No problem. Here is a revised version for you. Let me know if you think of anything further to adjust.

We LOVE your logo. Just not so much the font. Alternative, more professional-looking fonts?

Here is another clean, professional font option. I suppose font choice depends on the type of mood you want to convey. I will see what other good type options I can come up with later today. Thanks for being so involved in the process!

I definitely like this font better, but maybe a font more akin to that used in the logo presently ranked #2?

Sure thing. I will be able to post a new version for you as soon as I get home tonight (approx. 5pm central)
Talk with you then!

Sorry for the delay; here is a new version for you with the font you requested. I will see what else I can come up with as well...

Here is just the logo icon portion on its own for you to see, should you decide to ever use it without the text. It could be a nice alternate logo option, when is there is not sufficient space for the whole horizontal layout.
