entry #29 - very cute!! love the pie - finally someone looked at my sketches :) not what i was expecting for the text but i do like it. not sure of the offset of the pie - maybe try it in the middle?
Hi Melody thanks for your updates. i think i still prefer your original entry. the new ones i like are entry 51, 52 and 53. 49 and 54 are too curly and look like i could have done it myself on microsoft word. is there any chance you can make the text from shoelaces? otherwise can you use a text similar to the original entry that is a little more random (maybe text width etc a bit more mixture of fat and skinny?)
thank you for all the suggestions you have put forward. the four i have kept current i like best. i am tempted to go back to the first example with the pie off centre..... could you possibly experiment with a few other fonts - i saw you have put a shoelace into the design but not as the text.....
loving the image on #93..... can you play with the text - back to the simple black and orange for comparison? and can you also look at encorporating a circle into the design so i can compare it to the other designs?
thanks for the new revisions - some great stuff in there.... my favourite at the moment is #135 i also like #140 and #138 135 - are you able to slightly darken the yellow to a more orange/yellow? with 140 - i like the whole pie but could you try it without the white on top? maybe berries or something so it looks more tart like? and darken up the text to a more orange? and with 138 - are you able to make the pie a little bigger as it was #93? just some suggestions..... i also really like #134 - colours are very cute - just a little worried how they might transfer to labels etc.
the berries in 142 are very cute thank you.... would you be able to try that style of cake in one of the round designs to see how it would work - or a slice of a berry tart? the updated other designs had colour in the middle - are you able to take 135 and make the yellow a bit more orange and leave the background white? and make the pie steam a bit darker brown? and also if you could look at making the pie crust a tiny bit thinner for a comparison?
and if you could take 134 and try it with a white background?
