It needs the R becuase the runner is too hard to make it as a R

I do like the runner - but would prefer it going the other way (somehow).

I'd also like to see the second (or another one) colour used. The logo is likely to be on a beige/sandy background

I like these designs. One question about the drop shadow - do you think that will work when the logo is small (say 70x100 pixels)?

I think I am starting to like the black running man with red letters. I'd like to see the Words in the deeper red

I've made a few versions for you to look at with the Deeper red. One #95 uses the red colour you specified in your brief.

Thanks for that option but I think I still prefer #101.

My only concern is the font on the lettering and I cant quite put my finger on it. It feels more triangular (or blocky) than the logo (if that makes sense).
