Here are some of my proposals. Instead of creating a separate icon / typography combination, I've created an all encompassing logo / unit. One that can be used for additional elements just as branding stamps, watermarks, shirt badges/embroidery etc.
I've started in its simplest form, monotone ... I've always been a believer if it works in this, it will work in colour. And also shows that it can work for things like newspaper print etc.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
Hi Angus, Thanks for the logo, let's try a different font that is a little more rustic as well as removing the tag line to see what that looks like. Since this is about life on the narrow path I don't know if you could incorporate a path somehow in the design. Thanks.
Hi Angus, really like what you are putting together. With the logo that has the cross can you make the cross look more straightforward? Not with the curves around the edges, just more like a simple cross. Can we also try a design where the Ramblin banner stays the same, but the design behind it looks more like a shield? Thanks for the help.
With #30, can you add some type of edge around the design. I like the simplicity of that one, but trying to think of something to make it pop out more.
Alright Angus, I think we are narrowing in on #33, can you try a couple of different fonts. Still staying with that rustic, western style? Also try one with the cross, but keep the cross that same size as the h and the e. Thank you very much for your commitment to this.
Yes of course no problems at all, would be my pleasure! Will jump on this first thing in the morning (I'm based in the UK and I need to go look after my 4 month old). Have a great rest of your day and speak to you very soon.
