I was also thinking that this could look really good if this logo was done in white text on top of a black dot/circle. Are you able to do this? I think it could look really good.

I really like this! You can eliminate the tagline though. I'm not sure about the backwards R however I do like that you've tried to make a simple and subtle change to make the logo. I'd like to see a subtle minimalist change to an aspect of the word "PERK". Maybe a simple altercation to the P or the K. Something that makes it slightly more unique while keeping it simple.
