Wow...LOVE your idea!!! And I love the liberty you took with the tagline...fantastic! Right now I'm very torn between your design (#6) and the others in the top 3 (#2 & #12). The things I like about the other designs are the amount of color (I'm drawn to the green) & the idea of the path (myself and the other penny finders spend a lot of time walking around, finding money, etc...so the path seems appropriate somehow). But on your design the puzzle pieces forming a coin are AWESOME!!

For the color of the coins can you make the color a little closer to a penny...they currently still look a little gold to me.

Am loving your concept...thanks for the design. I look forward to some variations!!

Cheers,
Leslie

PS--I'm wondering too if we can play with the tagline you added and add a parenthetical (& tails) after the word heads. Might be a terrible idea...but we're cracking ourselves up over here with it! :-)

another spin-off from my tagline idea...

Again...I really love the spin you put onto this (#25)!! Love the pennies w/ the heads being together and the abstract look of a path!! The only thing I find a bit confusing is the fact that the 3 coins come together to look like a club from a deck of cards. Not sure I like that. Can you play a bit more with the palcement so they don't look so much like a club? It doesn't seem congruent with everything else.

Thanks so much!!

Cheers,
Leslie

It's a three leaf clover - lucky.

Actually...4 leaf clovers are lucky. Three leaf clovers are just clovers! But thanks for describing your intent. I appreciate it!

Steve,

Hi there! I have started showing the designs to friends, family & those who support my project and many of them LOVE #6!! There have been a few comments though that the coins are too sparkly. A lot of the change we get is from gutters & couch cushions (nice, eh?!). Can you change the color of the coins to something more copper? And can you bring some color to the letters? A lot of the designs use green & other colors in the text, whcih I like. I want it to have some pizzaz!! :-)

Also, can I see a vertical version of the design?

Thanks so much!

Cheers,
Leslie

In addition to changing the colours, I loosened-up the edges some to further emphasize age of coins/found coins. I also made the puzzle/heads element more pronounced.

Thanks, Leslie - this is a fun and worthy project to be sure. It's moments before a wedding here so I'll be off-line for some hours now, but trust that if chosen, I'll be happy to work with you to your complete satisfaction.
Cheers, Steve.
