My entry shows some guys dressed up as Abe Lincoln (with beard and stovepipe hat falling off) and George Washington (having lost his wig) running from an attacking chicken. There's an historic building in the background and an egg-shaped moon. The style is whimsical, but with "etched" lines to mimic the way we usually see historic portraits (on bills, engravings, etched into monuments, etc.) Single color for cost efficiency. Any changes you'd like to see, please let me know.
I like the 1-color concept and you're spot on with the historical people in costume! It's a bit busy though. And to be totally up front, someone here locally came up with the awesomest logo ever and it's so perfect that we tried to call off the tournament 4 hours into it. But Logo Tournament wouldn't let us, so we are very unlikely to pick a winner of inline submissions. We're a non-profit, and this is our entire budget....so if you're willing to share for the $75 Logo Tournament says it keeps/shares with the top-ranked designer, I think your design would look great on a T-shirt (better on a T-shirt than the official logo). It's theoretically possible that the board will pick one of your designs as the actual winner, but there's another one in the mix that you can't see.... (With the new logo tournament rules, the person here who tried to submit a logo couldn't because of the waiting list). Thank you so much for your throughtful design - it's the most reflective of the event's spirit yet.
