Your work has great possibility. Let's try it again. This time add our caption, "the light in the window, the port in the storm." Something else is needed. I await a second try. Lyratah
I love your second one! Know that I have to run this by a number of people and everyone, I am finding has a different opinion. In the end it may be two people with the last word. You are on to something with this one. The black is bold, thinking out of the box. We like that. Keep creating, so we may see the width and breadth of your visions.
dear satto, here is a challenge. if you would incorporate in your stylizations some symbols. an eight pointed star, a lamp lighting the way and a winged lion. concern: though i love the black it will be difficult for printing on brochures, cards, etc. .lyratah
Dear lyratah, No problem to put the logo on a white background... I'll show you... and you can use both, for example: black background for the web, white background for the print... Incorporating symbols: Be careful, if you multiply different symbols, your logo will be less powerful and efficient, the eye (and the brain) cannot remember too many things at the same time... it's confusing. a lamp lighting the way: i think it's too concrete (and there is still a light in the center of the logo) a winged lion: this symbol is very common in the financial surroundings, a little bit aggresive, no? an eight pointed star: good idea: i can incorporate it in the center of the logo... Thanks for your comments, you'll see new versions soon. Good day, Sunshine, Satto.
Hi Lyratah, Sorry for being so slow... #70 #71 #72 = 3 new "white" versions of the black one. I'm also working on a design mixed with a eight pointed star... coming soon. Thanks for your encouragments, Satto.
Hi Lyratah, Sorry again for not speaking english very well... I would like to thank you for ranking me n°1 but... I feel a little frustated because I want you to have the best logo that realy represent you. so, please gimme some more "art direction" to achieve your perfect image (even if i think that the simpliest one must be the best one!). You're always welcome, Satto.
dear satto, we appreciate your wanting to tune into our needs in such a direct and focused way. i really like your last piece a lot. it does lack some of the mix of interesting dots of colors of your first ones, the golds. we also love the wings on the side of #40. can you combine them? how would it look if the blue center dots at the core of the piece where golden to lighten it at the center, creating a contrast to the purple. I think with that we have will have something.
