Do not like the use of the color gray. Depressing. Want to see a light green as primary color with maybe a nice blue as accent color on this design. Like the way you are attempting to use the brain/spine in logo in a subtle way.
RaspyDesign -- another comment. I am not sure I like the font. Very generic. And while I appreciate the use of the spine, when I first look at the logo it reminds me of a chiropractor. I am not sure what can be done about that. My husband is an actual physician. Thanks for the submission and I look forward to your revision!
Entry # 9 - Thanks for submitting another design. I like the colors better and I like the spacing of the name better. My husband (the physician) feels the logo itself kind of looks like a pregnant woman. I think it looks like a swan. I think you are trying to do an abstract spine and brain. Right? Like the direction but can you refine it a bit more to get rid of the swan/pregnant imagery? Also, on the next idea as far as color ---- maybe a bit darker blue and different shade of green? Also my husband would like one without blue and instead using maybe 2 tones of green. I personally think the blue/green combo works better for this design but he likes green. Finally, the tag line is now without the "and" which is replaced with a comma. Thanks for your submission and we look forward to your next idea!
Entry #10 - Thanks for the submission. I think we like the original blue/green color combo but maybe just make the blue a hint darker so it shows up better. This current blue/green is a bit too bright. As for logo, while you have the brain, we need the spine as well to be represented. Can you combine the 2 versions? Right now it looks like ying/yang. Also, can we try a different by similar font? I think we like the current font because it is familiar--looks like something I use everyday. Hope this feedback helps. Really making progress here. Thanks!
Entry # 16 - RaspyDesign - Getting closer! My husband is out but I want to give you some feedback now. Like the darker blue and font is crisper and easier to read. Brain - don't like using a dot. What about a smaller version of the brain in Entry #10? As for spine, it is going the wrong way and I miss the dots along it as was in your original design. What about using your original spine with dots and combining it with a smaller brain from entry #10? Also, can you play with the placement of the name of the business by putting "The Neurology and Pain" on the first line and see how it looks? Finally, we are having problems with the tag line. Can you change it to "Relieve Pain and Reclaim Your Life" so we can see how it looks and flows? Maybe in an ever so slight larger font so it can be read and in a font that compliments the one you are using for the business name. Thanks so much! Really appreciate all of your hard work.
One more comment - I really like the font the designer used on Entry #3. Can you find something similar to that to use in your entry #16? Thanks again.
Dot is ok for brain but place on top of spine, looks like a case of severe kyphosis. Spine orientation is ok in my opinion as this is abstract and it works with the design. Can you post one with two shades of green as well?
#52 looks like a sperm and we don't like the green on green - my husband's mistake.
#74 - like where heading but brain needs to connect to spinal cord. Take "your" out of tag = Relieve Pain and Reclaim Life. Needs to have PLLC in name. Miss dots on the spinal cord as from before.
Like #61 of those versions. Maybe make it more round on the green to make it look less like a comma? And beef up reference to spinal cord.
Back to # 9 - I am still drawn to this one but still looks like a swan. What about working on the representation of the brain/head to eliminate swan look? And thinning out the spine so it doesn't look like pregnant woman?
111- can you go back to original swan shape and instead of making literal brain, just swoop the circle up and around at top to look like a brain? in other words, bring original swoop of swan neck up and around.
124 - almost on the brain. instead of taking the swiggle all the way in and looping it, what about just doing one loop -- this is so hard to describe --- like a backward "C" that is elongated.
147 - tighten the end of the swoop brain tail just a bit. Add back the white lines on the green. Obe with the lines, one without. Then another version using the green and blue tones that are a bit more earthy. Thanks
I'm glad you like my recent entry. As we near the end of the contest I'm beginning to get concerned with other designers enitries looking uncomfortably similar to my brain and spine combination.
Please let me know if ere is anything else you would like to see.
