hi Judy. i changed this design around to make it look more like a globe and i also replaced the "dot" over the "j" with a star to tell a little bit more what your about but i didnt want to make the logo overly busy. let me know if you want to see any changes. thanks!

Very nice concept with the globe. I agree with not making the logo too busy. I'm wondering what you would think about the ® symbol over the j rather than the star? It definitely has the risk of making it too busy.

No problem on the spelling. Happens all the time.

hi Judi. thanks for the feedback. here it is with the registered symbol. the reason i used a star is it always reminds me of non-profits. let me know if you want to see any other changes. thanks!

Thanks for giving that a try. I think the registered symbol will get lost when the logo goes smaller.

i thought maybe to highlight the star in a different color to make it stick out more and also cleaned up a few little things here and there. thanks!

Kyro6, I'm wondering if you can make the JS more bold and less wispy? I don't know if that will work. Ultimately I like the square better than the circle/globe. I would like a design that is a bit cleaner and suggests strength.

I do think that the star needs to be stronger than it is in #28

I like the way the S evokes a light bulb in earlier versions. I'd like that design to be bolder and cleaner.

can you give me some direction in terms of what you mean by bolder and cleaner? i think it is pretty clean but do you mean colors? thanks!

You are right. It is pretty clean. Forgive my lack of designer vocabulary. I think that the letter forms are too thin. But then I don't know the design would work if you make them thicker. Its just my reaction. I like the darker blue and orange. I also like the green and blue. So, no, its not the colors.
