There are elements of this one that I like. However, I am still looking for somehting that is more country - (think Texas Cowboy) - in the logo. There should be a combination of law and cowboys.

This is getting there. I REALLY like the hat. Not certain about the gavel, though not bad. Perhaps scales of justice? Don't know. Favorite so far.

Entry #6 - I like the way you are thinking. I have a friend who has sort of already coined the phrase "Longhorn Lawyer," so I need to come up with a different theme. That said, I like the ideas that you are using to come up with this one...

I am torn between entries 16,17 & 18 right now. As far as the scales, lets take the blue and red out, and just go with the gold color. I would like to see about maybe draping the hat over the left upper area of teh roping, and maybe adding some boots as well. I really like the font choice, and the overall feel of this logo idea. This is close to what I am looking for.
