We love Entry #12. The H looks a little bit too fat though and the middle line is too long. I did a quick edit with photoshop on how I would like it to look. This is a messy edit but if you can make it look more like this that would be great: http://postimg.org/image/ujt52vyer/c013e9cb/

Also, I would like to see some more text options. This includes new fonts. I still want to font to be clean. We can try both serif and sans serif. Currently with the "hive" in bold and "the" not in bold, the logo is a bit too weighted to the right. Hive should definitely stand out though so see if you can find some new ways to do this.

I just uploaded a variation of #12 with the edits you asked for the symbol #139 #140 but i'm still working on somemore and i´ll be back a bit later.

The "H" needs to be less bold (and of equal weight throughout the letter). The middle bar needs to be even shorter...

of course, something like #146 #147 ? or do you want to see it thinner?

#152 #153 all have the same width, the H and the lines of the "hive".

Let me know if this is what you were thinking of, or if you have anymore ideas on it.

We have a misunderstanding. I didn't mean to make the H smaller. I meant that the middle yellow bar needs to be shorter. Look at the image I uploaded. It's no longer a hexagon. Its more ovular (not completely though).

I'm sorry but i wasn't understanding you wanted it more oval, but i think i got it now: #176 #177 , and now that i see it, i have to agree with you, it does look much better.

#182 and #183 - the symbol is even more oval, and now it has the same width and height.

Loving #182. Lets throw it on a white background. As for the text, can you use the font "Coolvetica" (http://www.dafont.com/coolvetica.font) or something similar? Maybe just regular helvetica or some modification of that?

Of course, i´m going to work on it.

I'm sure you didn't see it but #183 is the white background version of #182.

Let go with #201. Fi the kerning and find some way to put the "The" on the left side.

I used helvetica on these because the small "t" on coolvetica wasn't working verticaly.

For #207, capitalize the T in "The"
For #203, put the on the side like in #207. No need to capitalize the "t"

#208 and #209 - new designs with the edits on the text you asked.

For #207: Could I see "The" in all caps. Also I would like to see some color variations for the icon (sticking with warm tones)

Lets use the color of #201. The text on #207 (fix the kerning on "THE"). I want to see if you can do something creative the "Hive" text. I don't know what. I like the coolvetica text. I just want something with a little something special that makes it more recognizable. Just an idea...

Ok, i a can give it a go to see if i can think of anything that can make the wordmark part of the logo more unique.

Still got no good idea on the font, and it's already a bit late here (4:30 am) so i have to call a day, but tomorrow i'll think on it with a fresh head.

Please extend "Santa Monica" through the length of the logo. Pretty intuitive.

Also lets go with the capital "THE" but fix the kerning please. It is not balanced now.

Also I would like to see the icon with a gradient. Could it go from the yellow in #201 to the Orange in #225. Top to bottom. Thanks

#228 - already with the gradient, fixed kerning and full lengh tagline.

Still haven't got anything good to show you on typography, hard to mess with something so clean without ruining it. I´m trying.

#231 - Tried a extended helvetica on "THE" and "Santa Monica"
#232 - Just trying this version with extended helvetica, This is probably my favorite one because it helps compensate the weight of the caps H, but it's just my opinion.

Nice. What if we just put "the" next to "Hive" and stretched out Santa Monica? I agree that the weight works better in 232 but it is strange to have a word that is meant to be read first go on the right side of the logo.

Or we could stack "THE" on the left instead of putting it sideways like this:

Okay i can try stacked and i understand it can be harder to read with "the" on the right.

#237 and #238 another idea for the layout.

Moving forward with #235. Can you try some different fonts? Serif and sans serif... We want something a little less industrial and more approachable. Add a sense of playfulness.

I want it to represent "beach" vibe as well

Those last ones were a bitt too masculine. Can you push them to the feminine side?
