Hello, Steve -

Thank you for submitting your design. I think its quite complicated for our needs. Any ideas for something less ornate?

Thanks,
Beth

Hi, Steve -

I think #22 is still too complex. The elements are definitely art deco, but they just seem to overpower the name. More simplified?

Thanks,
Beth

Hi, Steve -

We like the concept, but there are a few issues we would like resolved...

1. We like the mask.
2. Can you replace the swirly ribbons with something more art deco and less frilly? We feel this would be complicated to reproduce reliably.
3. We would like the top line to read "The Holly", with "The Historic Holly Theater" below
4. Less informal font and please use capital letters

Thanks,
Beth

Hi, Steve -

I think this is an improvement, but the lettering is too similar to our #1 position in your #35, #36, and #37, so I will have to put them into "not interested". I'm sure you can come up with a font that is not as similar.

Thanks,
Beth

Hi, Beth

I was talking with Dan, we both made a modification of the font, which turned out very similar, is not a problem I`ll withdraw design and change the font, thanks for your understanding, regards Steve

Hi, Steve -

Thanks for modifying the font. For #39 and #40, can you take a look at these images: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=4Fb&um=1&q=art+deco+style&sa=N&start=0&ndsp=18 and see if it inspires any new ideas for treating the full name and embellishment (i.e., under "The Holly" and mask).

Thanks,
Beth

Hi, Steve -

For #44, I think its just too bulky...but we definitely appreciate the attempt at including the art deco components. Maybe slim the whole edifice thing down to some columns on the end and some kind of connecting embellishment between them?

Thanks,
Beth

Hi Beth,
This is some experiment, feel free to comment it, I try with some art deco building, I know this is maybe too complex but I`ll try, regards, Steve
