Regarding #7 and #8, I like how you used the entire height, made "Hendrix" large, and had no wasted space.

I don't think the symbol is exactly what I'm looking for though.

I'm not dedicated to the orange or the blue colors, so don't feel like you have to keep those for your next entries.

In #36 I don't think the symbol and the effect on the E are exactly what I'm looking for. It does look interesting though.
