Couple of things...
Yes I agree that the globe graphic is overly used, so I like the concept you've come up with. Here are some changes that I think would help...
1. The tagline needs to be shortened to: "Your Tech, Your Way." The lettering need to be italicized, the color dark orange, the font point size increased by two points, and centered under the word "collective."
2. On each side of the word collective you have placed two horizontal lines. Please change the color to orange.
3. Please make the background color of the graphic gray as opposed to blue.
I like the graphic. The sphere that is closest to the hand/finger: could that be made a light orange?
Also, I'd change the color of the word collective to match the text above it. Lastly, I'd add the tagline "Your Text, Your Way" italicized and in a dark orange below the co. name.
